FAQs
What types of tickets are available for Ray White Savour in the Park?
For the inaugural event, there will only be GA tickets available. There will be both early bird and local discounts. Please see the ticketing site for dates and discounts available.
What do I need to bring to access the event on the day?
To speed up entry ensure your ticket is loaded and ready to be scanned from your phone – or you can bring hard copy tickets.
We may require you to present an approved proof-of-age document to confirm you are aged 18 years or above. The approved proof-of-age documents must be valid, current and be one of the following; a New Zealand Photo Driver’s License or an NZ or overseas Passport
What payment methods will be accepted by on-site vendors?
Cash is King! While some of our stallholders do carry EFTPOS, and EFTPOS facilities will be available on-site, bringing cash will ensure you don’t spend the day in queues!
Can I bring my own food and drink to the event?
With such a diverse selection of wineries, food vendors, beer and non-alcoholic drinks available at Savour in the Park, we’ll have everything you need, even coffee! Please be aware that no food or drink will be permitted on-site and will be confiscated at the gate.
Will I be able to get water at the event?
Free drinking water will be available at various locations around the site for you to refill your own bottles or those vessels provided by beverage outlets on the purchase of drinks. We will also have the fantastic team from Liquid Action walking through the crowd with their portable water carriers ready to fill your glass!
Can I bring my baby, child or young teen?
Due to alcohol and our licensing, this is a strictly R18 event and therefore no children or babies will be able to access the event. We also strongly recommend you have ID as referred to above, as both ticket staff and bar staff may request this before allowing entry or prior to serving you.
Can I bring my dog, cat or pet budgie?
As much as we love your furry friends they will not be able to access the event due to the venue’s regulations.
What else should I bring on the day?
Be prepared for the weather! Pack your own sunscreen, sun hats, and shades, or wet weather gear if required! Some natural shade and cover are available around the venue, but as the event is outdoors we are exposed to the elements throughout.
How do I get to the event and where do I park?
LOCATION: The festival is located at Churchill Glade, Pollard Park, Parker Street. Please refer to the ‘Location‘ page for a map.
TRANSPORT: Although the event is within walking distance from town if you are visiting Blenheim or live further afield please refer to the ‘Location‘ page for all local transport options. Or be voted favourite friend and offer to be your group’s designated driver!
PARKING: If you do plan to drive, there will be parking at Marlborough Girls College. Please be considerate of neighbouring properties. Please DO NOT park along nearby streets that are coned off, in front of driveways or in the golf club car park.
PLAN YOUR ROUTE & ARRIVE EARLY: Traffic disruptions may occur immediately before, during and after the festival with a lot of pedestrians in the area. Roads will not be closed so please take care. Plan your route carefully and allow extra time when travelling to or near the Festival.
What do I need to know about rubbish and recycling?
Firstly, we request that you please respect our neighbours by reducing the impact our event has on them. Please be respectful when entering and leaving the venue and ensure litter is disposed of in the bins provided.
As a region, Marlborough embraces the clean and green philosophy, and as event organisers Pure Events Marlborough takes the environment, recycling and being tidy kiwis very seriously. We, therefore, encourage our stallholders and visitors to be aware of rubbish and encourage the use of recyclable products and packaging wherever possible.
There will be recycling bins on site. Please use them properly so that each type of recycling doesn’t become contaminated. Please bring your own empty drink bottle as there will be free water on site.
